Honda Celebrates 25 Years of Manufacturing in Canada
Never Ending Race Video
In the early 1970's, as unprecedented levels of pollution choked the nation's largest cities, a group of Honda automobile engineers secretly toiled to develop an engine technology that would significantly reduce pollution from automobiles. This new environmental short film, "Never Ending Race," tells the story of Honda's industry-leading efforts to reduce vehicle emissions and how its successful technology demonstration for the state of California led to more stringent exhaust emissions standards. This eventually transformed the automobile industry's approach to automobile emissions controls and today, as a result, smog-forming emissions from new vehicles are one one-thousandth of 1970 levels. This is the third film in the award-winning Honda Environmental Film Series.

Honda Live TV Ad
TV ad from Spain. It was a very creative aand daring concept to take on and it came off great.
Here's what was to be done:
One plane, a team of skydivers, and a handful of intrepid cameramen...the result? The world's first truly live tv ad.
19 skydivers will have three minutes and 20 seconds to spell out the word Honda, inspired by the car manufacturer's new advertising strapline: "Difficult is worth doing".
Organisers were yesterday hoping the weather in Spain would hold as the team practised. "There will be no time delay and no CGI [computer-generated imagery]. If it works, people will know who it's for. If it doesn't, they won't," said Ian Armstrong, Honda's manager of customer communications.
The stunt is a means of gaining publicity for Honda's new multi-million pound ad campaign, which features 45 skydivers promoting the Honda Accord by creating a series of shapes over the Mojave desert to reflect new features on the car.
